Family Weekend Lab: I Scream for Ice Cream

Family Weekend Labs is hosting “I Scream for Ice Cream” program at Liberty Science Center from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM in honor of February being Children’s Dental Health Month. Learn about dental health then stick around for LSC-made liquid nitrogen ice cream. Designed for families with children ages 5-11, Family Weekend Lab is $40 per person; $25 for LSC members and you can buy tickets at the Box Office or contact us to make reservations: 201-253-1310 or sales@lsc.org.

Meet and Greet with Elsa and Olaf

If your kids are Frozen fans then you are in luck because Elsa and Olaf of Disney’s Frozen are heading to Newport Skates, where they’ll meet and take photos with children from Jersey City! The characters will be at the rink from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM and the event is free to the public.

High Tea and Richard III

Transport yourself to England with High Tea and some Shakespeare at Jersey City’s St. Paul’s Church in Bergen from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM. Stratford-upon-Duncan presents a staged reading of Shakespeare’s Richard III, directed by Patrick Taaffe. Admission is free but a donation of $10 is suggested to help cover the cost of the High Tea.
