If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, look no more! We are lucky to live in an area with such creative and talented people who care so much about their community. Project: Market is having their 2nd annual anniversary this weekend. December 5th & 6th from 11am-6pm, enjoy a heated outdoor market at City Hall. Hamilton Inn will be whipping up beverages to keep you warm such as spiked eggnog, apple cider bellini’s and bourbon mint tea. Modcup will also be serving their delicious lattes and they will have plenty of coffee to take home! Come hungry and enjoy homemade snacks from your favorite local bakers such as Grandma Downtown and Cocoa Bakery. Project: Market will have mini photo booths and clothing vendors showing off their best stuff! It’s a perfect place to get family, friends or a special someone in your life a great gift for the holidays!
The event is hosted by members of The Jersey City Project who organize outdoor markets and events in downtown Jersey City. All outdoor events are held at City Hall Plaza located at 280 Grove Street. Some past events include Project: Eats and Project: Earth. The organization is made up of long-time Jersey City restaurants, most of whom own businesses. Their goal is to help promote small businesses, local talent and have the community come together for a good cause.
