March To-Do List Around The Madox

March 3, 2016

Now is the time to purchase tickets to the 8th annual Food & Wine Festival held at Crystal Springs Resort in Vernon. Have any of our residents ever been here? It’s lovely! They have all different kinds of events such as a pancakes & prosecco breakfast, a marketplace lunch and the champagne brunch.

March is Jersey Shore restaurant month. Check out these restaurants that will be offering prix fixed menus! We suggest checking out the The Bonney Read. The menu sounds delicious and so do their Yelp reviews.  Asbury has some awesome dining options! It’s about an hour away which makes it ideal for a day trip. March 13th is also Asbury’s St. Patrick ’s Day festival.

If you love flowers like we do here at The Madox then you’ll want to visit the orchid show at the New York Botanical Garden. If you want to make a romantic evening of it then you can do Orchid Evenings where they add romantic music and cocktails. This runs until April 17th.

March 3rd-6th is the Armory Art Show at Pier 92 & 94. Established in 1994 and held annually on Piers 92 & 94, The Armory Show is New York’s premier international art fair, showcasing over 200 galleries from around the world. Pier 92 will have mostly Modern artwork while pier 94 will be mostly contemporary. There’s also a Pommery Champagne bar and wines offered by the glass and bottle. Food is also available for purchase!

Wine Riot tickets are also still available for their annual event held on March 4th &5th.  If you’ve been to wine riot and you’d like to try a new event you’re in luck! The Grand Tasting at the Altman Building (135 W. 18th Street) will be held on the evening of March 8th.

What could be the world’s oldest and largest St. Patrick’s parade, New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade celebrates Irish culture and the Catholic faith on 5th Avenue from 44th to 79th on March 17th at 11am.  Of course there’s also the Hoboken St. Patrick ’s Day parade as well which will be this Saturday, March 5th.
