Making its East Coast debut, “Grace, or The Art of Climbing,” will be playing at Art House productions (AHP) in Jersey City from Thursday, March 15 to April 1, with performances every Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.
The play follows the journey of a woman who is facing a painful chapter in her life. While fighting depression, Emm, the main character, decides to enter the world of competitive rock-climbing. Her quest takes her through the rugged and humorous terrain of physical training while personal relationships chart a journey suspended between muscularity and vulnerability, and the ardor and grace of being human.
